A Walk on the Beach

The weather here was pretty nice today, almost 60 degrees. So after we dropped the triplets off at school, Tim and I decided to take a walk on the beach. How nice to be able to just say, 'Hey, let's go to the beach!' and be there in less than 10 minutes! I love it! So...we drove to Ocean City and walked on the boardwalk a bit. We got lunch at Mack's pizza, just the two of us - how nice was that?! Then we took a walk along the beach. It was quite windy, but still very enjoyable. Just listening to the waves and the birds. Leaving our footprints side-by-side in the sand. We got to take some time to talk and also walk quietly hand in hand. A nice afternoon out together, alone!

Before picking up the girls, we stopped to check out the Ocean City Library and Arts center. It was amazing! http://www.oceancitylibrary.org/
The library is huge and had every book we looked for. Tim even checked out a few books (about building a surf board...oh my!) In the same building, they offer all types of art courses as well as dance classes. http://www.oceancityartscenter.org/ And the prices dont seem that bad. So we got lots of paperwork to bring home and look over. Also in that building is a swimming pool and fitness center. You would never think for a fairly small island that they would have such a comprehensive program.

After school, I took Kaitlyn to her gymnastics class and loved watching her do a flip over the bar...ALL BY HERSELF! How cool to watch that progression. Megan & Morgan's preschool class got a visit from Finn the Leprechaun today. He even left them a 'golden cookie' (Vanilla Wafer ;) Cute.

We have been blessed with two 'bonus' days with Tim home, I am so thankful for that. Let's keep our fingers crossed for a few more!
