We had a great family day on Saturday - Tim made a huge breakfast/brunch and we all ate together. Then more play time and fun with Ryan.
Then we went for an early dinner to a nice restaurant in Brigantine called 'Laguna Grill'. A friend of mine works there and suggested we try it. The food was delicious and the prices weren't too bad. The best part is that it is located right on the beach with an enclosed, heated outdoor deck -- what a beautiful view!
While in Brigantine, we walked along their Stone Wall - it was SO COLD!! But once again, gorgeous...
On our way home, we drove past the Absecon Lighthouse. Unfortunately, it's in a really bad neighborhood, so we didn't get out of the car, but I got some nice pics.
Then some shopping - Carl & Anita wanted to check out some stores down here that they don't have at home (we weren't impressed! LOL). We had a cozy night at home making S'mores in the fireplace. Ryan was a bit nervous to stick his marshmallow in the fire (I think his mom was more nervous...) but he LOVED eating them!
Since Anita is a Certified Massage Therapist, sometimes I hit her up for a relaxing massage during their visits. This was one of those times! ;) And it was great as usual.
Sunday was another relaxing day - we actually had a BBQ lunch on the grill - reminded me of Summertime! We had lots of fun with the Wii fit (I think Carl had the most fun...he took over all of our First Place scores! heehee)
Before they left, we gave the kids baths and let them watch a movie together in their PJs...too cute!
We cannot wait until we can see them again - we always have a BLAST together!!
