Oh nuts...
One thing we have here at our new home that we rarely...if EVER saw at our old house...squirrels! Apparently the people who owned this house before us used to hand-feed the squirrels and actually named them...oh my! So we get them on our deck and of course ALL over our yard. These were taken with my new zoom lens - the little guy was on top of our grill on the deck...

First-I LOVE your photos of the squirrels. They are one of my favorite things to photographic because I think that they really do have personalities. My grandfather has been "Feeding the birds" and the squirrels for YEARS and I think somehow they pass it through the generations b/c they always seem to know when the food is there and start looking for him when he doesn't come out at the usual time!
The only thing I don't like about squirrels is when I hear them in the area above our ceilings but below the roof/on the roof. Our apt doesn't have an attic or crawlspace or anything but we know there is some space up there and they wake me in the middle of the night with their scurring (I am a light sleeper I think!) But they are so darn cute!! As long as they stay OUTSIDE:)
