Rewind to April: Part 2

Disney - April 13-19... I'm sure you remember those updates! lol

In April, we began the process of applying for Obama's mortgage plan to see if we qualify (due to Tim's recent pay cuts and job changes). It looks like we qualify for a free refinancing program, but here we are two months later and still no further ahead. So we'll see how that works out.

Also, my allergies started up awful in April, but thankfully have gotten better more recently. Kaitlyn also started with allergies this year and has taken Claritin for kids almost every day...hers continues just as strong even now, poor girl.

Sunday, April 26 my cousin Julie got married! I drove up to Tommy's house (her brother) and rode to the wedding with Tommy and his wife Kim.

What a beautiful wedding!!

April 30, Kaitlyn went on a class trip to the Franklin Institute in Philadelphia and I was lucky enough to be chosen as a chaperone! Her three best friends were in our group and it was such a fun day!





And that wraps up our April... busy busy busy! Check back soon for May updates - they will be aplenty! :)

Uncle Sean & Aunt Boochy!

We finally got to have a full weekend visit from Sean & Holly (Boochy)! They came down Friday, Feb 27 and stayed till Sunday, it was so nice.

For the most part, we just hung out, chatted and caught up with each other.
Saturday we went to the mall and then Denny's for dinner (yep we LOVE the Kids Eat Free deal!) heehee We also watched movies.
By Sunday, I was really not feeling well. We went Mack's pizza on the boardwalk for lunch and they left for home after that - trying to beat the SNOW!

We only got a few pics this weekend because for the most part, we were just hanging out, enjoying each other's company :)

Happy 1st Birthday Ian!

On Sunday, February 15, I drove out to Harrisburg alone with the girls to celebrate Ian's first birthday party. Unfortunately, once again, Tim was away on a trip (even though it was his scheduled week off...sigh) but it was important to me to be there for Ian's special day. And also very nice to spend time with Gary, Beth & the boys :)










It was great fun seeing Ian tear into his cake!





We stayed overnight at Gary & Beth's house Sunday night and had lots of fun, as always.

Beth made a big breakfast for us on Monday morning, then it was time to leave for home around noon... I'm already counting down till the next time we get to see them - as of right now, it may not be till Summer :(
