What I thought: This was typical Nicholas Sparks. My favorite of his was The Notebook and although I continue to read his new novels right away, they never compare. I did like this one better than his other most recent one which I reviewed HERE. It's not one of those storylines that your mind keeps going back to. But definitely a quick read.
