KornJulio! :)

The weekend after Baby Ryan's visit, we had my cousin Karen (who I lovingly call Korn), her husband Julio and their kids Julian & Madeleine down for an overnight stay (Fri Jan 30-Sat Jan 31). They arrived later than expected Friday night after getting lost somewhere in NJ (NJ roads are so confusing, you get off one exit, you may not be able to get back on for miles, if you're lucky!). So Friday night we just relaxed and watched a movie. The kids have a blast together, it's so nice. It reminds me of years back when Korn & I were little - we looked so forward to our weekends together!

Saturday morning, Tim made a big yummy breakfast, so we started the day with a feast! Then we played Wii with the kids. Korn & I went for a late lunch at a place called Caroline's by the Bay - it was very nice. We were the only ones in the dining room and we spent hours talking and eating and more talking. The guys stayed home with the kids and ordered hot wings.

Later we hung out at home and just enjoyed each other's company. Unfortunately, they had to leave Saturday night because they had an event to attend Sunday morning. So we all went to Denny's for a late dinner before they were on their way. It was nice because Saturday nights Kids Eat Free and they have face painting, which of course my girls loved!








Our time together always goes so fast, so I treasure every moment we have together!!
